this Torrents Contains No Virus. No Spam Its working Great on MacBook Air
kinda silly question. But this says "for mac book" i can use it on my actual Mac computer right??
Can I use them for my Macbook Pro 8,1? Sorry I'm new to mac.
Thanks to the uploader for this helpful thing, but it only works with some MacBooks. Mine is a MacBook Pro 17" early 2008, and it doesn't work on that.
People need torrents like this because Boot Camp has a frustrating way of failing to download the windows support software it needs. There are two ways to get round this problem, though, still using Boot Camp:
1) Restart with the shift key down. Let it up when you see the apple logo with an empty lozenge under it. That is a sign of a safe boot. It takes longer and the computer will look different afterward but that is only temporary. Things will be back to normal next time you restart. Boot Camp should work now with downloading Windows Support. Others have said this on the net and I can confirm it.
2) Create a new user with administrative privileges. Log out and log into that. For me, Boot Camp works successfully this way too, and it is quicker.
You don't need to do both of these. Just one.
